Pock World is, as the name suggest, planned as a global community, a social network for young adults from a total of 25 countries at launch date. You may see that China is represented with a flag, but we are not so sure that Pock will be allowed to operate in China – take into consideration that Pock is about human rights, freedom of speech, open platform and open source, and a place for free distribution of thoughts, ideas and creative works.

If we fail to enter China, we will add the Philippines to the group.

Get involved, there are +100 jobs up for grabs!

Pock is not in hiring mode yet, that will start in September this year. But we are looking for candidates. First we will look for talented young adults in Sweden and Norway, but as we launch and grow in other markets, Pock will need 100+ staff: a quarter as full time, the rest on a freelance basis.

Pock will launch first in Norway and Sweden, as a test and preparation for a global launch. Now, our priority is to establish networks of young, brilliant and dedicated people there, but we will also search, look and build networks of people in 23 other countries too: South Korea, Japan, Philippines, Australia, India, South Africa, Egypt, Israel, Turkey, Greece, Russia, Poland, Italy, Spain, France, UK, Germany, Netherlands, USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.

This accounts for more than 125 full time staff and 525 freelancers. But, as Pock grows, even more brains and hands will be needed to create the first, real global powerhouse for young adults!
