The Time Is Now!

 

We write June 2011, and not a lot has changed since June 2010. Or 2009. Or 2008. And so on. It kind of stays the same. New faces. New names. But nothing really changes. And, almost as usual, there are protesters in the street. Fighting for democracy. Or against capitalism. Racism. Any kind of -ism.

But the world is full of power hungry and power consuming people, companies, organizations and governments. And in this struggle, this war, for power, someone pay the price of having none. Poor people. 3rd world people. Young people.

Last week youth in Spain protested against their government’s lack of will or power to create a decent life for the younger generation. Unemployment is near to 40% for those under 30, meaning every group of friends and almost every family will have someone who is young, educated, powerful, resourceful, doing nothing. In the important job of bringing 3rd world countries out of poverty, someone forgot the keep their own population out of it also.

So what is there to do?

Pock World is a Power Community with real, life changing powers for young adults (18-32 years).
